The Muppet Matrix - The Fuzzy Green Pill...

For all you Matrix fans out there...(by now, if you didn't know that I am one, go do your homework. Then come back).
I really miss the Muppets. *muppets theme song plays in my head*
I miss the Matrix.

*The above dialogue seems an uncanny echo of what transpired in my Social Thought and Theory class last week, when I was commenting on Singapore's elite class ruling over us. It went something like this:

Dr Hadiz: ...And so, as we can see, the ruling class generates certain mechanisms in order to legitimize its claim to power.

Nian: Sounds like a case of 1984.

Dr Hadiz: It is the year 1984.
